Lens-Artist Photo Challenge: The Eyes Have It

I thought for the longest time that the white spot on the road runner was his eye. I never got a good look until I got a photo of him. His eye is actually right in front of the white spot.

Some wonderful examples this week – I especially loved the viper (as long as it’s only a photo of it!)

Like those button eyes and how interesting with the road runner – it is like the white is some trendy eye shadow !!

Aw, such a nice selection for the prompt. Except maybe the snake, but a peaceful snake is intriguing to look at.
Horse eyes are interesting. I’d love to see how their brain combines images from both sides of their head and makes sense of where to go. The puppy photos tugged at my heart. I think the look of unconditional love from animals is always irresistible. 😉

Yes, as long as the snake was behind glass it was good. I’m not afraid of snakes but this one was some kind of viper and super poisonous (at the zoo). There’s a lot to see in a horse’s eye. 🙂

Yay for glass houses for snakes!!!
I’ve heard that horses know your breath too? Is that true?

Yes, it’s true. Horses touch noses & smell each other’s breath in communication. But they can smell who you are from quite a distance without touching noses. 🙂 They’re incredible creatures.
