Macro Moments- #35

I got the opportunity to go to the local nursery the other day. Of course, all the flowers were in bloom and it was like the Garden of Eden. I didn't have my camera with me, although I took a few iPhone pics while I was there. It's only like 10 miles from where I... Continue Reading →

Macro Moments- 3/15/17

Macro Moments- 3/15/17 This flower is called Lantana. It comes in different colors, and I think it's really pretty. The clusters are about the diameter of the tip of my finger, so very small. The second picture is just for reference of that.  That's a raindrop in the center of the flower.

Clearly it had come out of the ground. The inhabitant had already left. I don't know what it was.... Continue Reading →

Macro Moments Challenge- week 27   January 18, 2017 It's always fun to snag an insect on a plant.  I love these flowers. They look like those filament lights that I used to see all the time. Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT f-5.6;  Exposure time: 1/400 sec.;  ISO-400;  Focal length: 100mm

Macro Moments- wk 26

Macro Moments- wk 26 Since it's freezing and dismal outside, I thought a beautiful Peace rose would brighten the day. Canon EOS T4i f-stop: f/5;  ISO: 400;  exposure bias: -0.3 step; exposure time: 1/500 sec; focal length: 100mm

Macro Moments wk 25
